Well friends, after scouring my closets and drawers for another t-shirt, I have come back empty handed. I am officially out of shirts.

Thanks to those who donated shirts to the cause, and thanks to all the people who visited me on my journey.

The final tally is 152 shirts, lasting from January 1st, 2006 to June 2nd, 2006. I'm pretty proud that I managed to make it to June -- at the beginning I didn't think I'd make it halfway through April.

Once again, check back over the course of this week. I'll be posting information on what shirts are available and how you can purchase them if you are so inclined.

Back in 1995 when the band +Live+ did their MTV Unpugged show, Ed Kowalczyk wore a green shirt with a red cross (or a red plus sign, whatever) on the front. At that time I idolized Ed (and the rest of the band), so you can imagine how excited I was when I found a replica shirt that was also a concert t-shirt. For being 10 years old, this shirt has held up surprisingly well.

In 1994, I began attending Truman State University, although it wasn't called that at the time, it was called Northeast Missouri State University. In 1995 the school changed it's name to Truman State University. Truman is located in Kirksville, population 17,000. It's a relatively small school, with an enrollment of about 6,000. School colors are purple, white, and gray. So, you can imagine how cool I thought an orange Truman shirt was.

A couple years ago, I realized that I didn't own the album Back In Black, so I went out and bought one. Later that day I was at Kohl's and I saw this shirt, so I bought it (I know --- Kohl's!!) Everytime I listen to AC/DC, I think of how my good friend Mike compares the lead singer's voice to a hedge trimmer. Next time you hear one of their songs, think about it.

Yes, that really says "Bloodhound Gang". Although the shirt isn't vulgar, their music is and that's what is so charming about them. They took their name from the old storyline on 3-2-1 Contact. Wow, that was a good show. Why don't they make a DVD set for 3-2-1 Contact? Or classic episodes of Sesame Street? Surely, the nostalgia value alone would sell a ton of DVDs. Am I right?

Right after the attacks on 9/11, my good pal (and bandmate) Mike Heeley wanted to help out. He wanted to DO something. He had the idea to make a kind of "We Are The World" song and album with St. Louis musicians. So he did. There was a big CD release party, with all proceeds and album sales going to charity to benefit the people lost in the attacks. He organized all of St. Louis' premier bands at the time, and got some of St. Louis' best producers together. The album (and project) was called St. Louis For Peace, and this is the shirt to commemorate it all.
